The swimlane in OIDC4CI is incomplete as it is not showing all the actors or all the messages e.g the issuer web site that the user interacts with via a browser is different to the issuer's issuing service that the wallet interacts with. No messages are shown for step 4.1 user login or step 4.3 consent. 

It may be that one swimlane is insufficient to show all the different use cases and possibilities, and that the spec would benefit from several different swimlanes to show the different actors and message flows that participate in the different use cases
