There is a weird dynamic with OpenID. It's like there is no incentive to 
really evangelize the protocol.

The SaaS OP providers want to sweep OpenID Connect under the rug as a 
technicality... not something you need to think about. This article 
illustrates this trend.

The RP issue that George points out is maybe an effect, not a cause.

OpenID needs a marketing campaign.
