Hi all,
in the new revision I tried to sketch out how I would envision support for SP 800-63A and notified eIDAS eID systems. In this context I renamed legal_context to trust_framework, which has a broader meaning and seems well known to the identity community.
I also significantly reworked the representation of id documents and verification methods.
Identifiers for trust frameworks, id documents, and verification methods can now be added to a list - a bit like a IANA registry.
See https://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-4-identity-assurance-01.html#rfc.appendix.A for a comprehensive list of all changes.
I look forward to getting your feedback.
I would especially ask you to contribute further trust frameworks, identity documents, and verification methods to cover jurisdictions around the globe.
best regards,
Torsten.
