Right, and I spotted a mistake in the abstract:

Basic Client Implementer's Guide is not a specification per
OIDF rule. It is just a guideline document.

So, it MUST NOT say

 > This specification intentionally duplicates

but it SHOULD say:

 > This document intentionally duplicates
