#8 in http://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-core-1_0.html#SelfIssuedValidation has "... its value of the checked to verify ..." 

which should probably read like it does in http://openid.net/specs/openid-connect-core-1_0.html#IDTokenValidation, ".. .and its value checked to verify..."
