Subject: [Openid-specs-ab] Spec call notes 23-Sep-13
Spec call notes 23-Sep-13
John Bradley
Mike Jones
Edmund Jay
Agenda:
Pre-IIW Meeting
Pre-IETF 88 Meeting
Open Issues
Interop
Document Restructuring
Pre-IIW Meeting:
Registrations are open at http://openid-wg-oct-2013.eventbrite.com/
We currently have 16 registrations
The agenda includes Account Chooser, OpenID Connect, and Native Applications
Pre-IETF 88 Meeting:
Karen O'Donoghue has a room for OAuth interop the Sunday before IETF 88
John says that she plans to allocate a few hours to OpenID as well
John to follow up with Karen about the schedule
Open Issues:
There are no new issues
There are now 15 open issues in the tracker
Significant issues discussed were:
#863 - Stateless dynamic registration
John hasn't gotten any responses from Google about this, etc.
John will try to follow up again - probably by telephone
#864 - Native Client code leakage
This may have to be addressed in an extension spec since the right solution isn't yet clear
#872 - Opbs is unclear
Nat to follow up with Breno for a clarification
Interop:
We don't know of any Session Management interop that's occurred
That's problematic for going final
Mike asked on the interop list about implementations
Edmund will try his RP session management code with Google and Microsoft
Document Restructuring:
Mike checked OpenID Connect Core into bitbucket
This combines Messages and Standard
See http://openid.bitbucket.org/openid-connect-core-1_0.html
This version still is structured like Messages
He still has to merge the Messages and Standard text about the "request" and "request_uri" parameters
After that, the next step will be to restructure it to follow the structure in Nat's draft
