The example in 2.1.1.1 [1] shows a scope="openid profile" and then individual userinfo claims including name, nickname and picture, which are claims defined as default profile Claims at the UserInfo Endpoint in 2.4 [2]. It's confusing to me. What does that request mean and/or why would one make a request like that?
