Test Mobile Application:
Pam continues to work on the mobile application
She plans to release it for people to start using on Monday
Open Issues:
#675 Registration - Track and profile OAuth2 Dynamic Client Registration
We agreed to participate in developing this spec and that using it could make sense once it stabilizes
#676 Discovery 2.1.2 - Allow port number to be specified for e-mail syntax identifiers
It doesn't look like this will happen with the acct: URI. We can do it anyway to specify the port for discovery.
Nat seems like the logical person to make this change, as he has been editing this text most recently.
#677 Messages : 2.3.2. UserInfo Response Structure
This doesn't seem extensible to general claims. In what bucket would you put the favorite_color claim?
This just seems to add parsing complexity without a commensurate benefit.
The working group decided not to make this change.
#678 Messages: Deprecated terminology in 5.1.3. Parameter Verification
John already fixed this
We discussed the question about whether to allow specification of "essential", etc. for parts of a claim.
We decided that the complexity didn't come with sufficient additional functionality.
Editing:
Mike still needs to apply the JOSE edits to the Connect specs
We need to apply the Session Management edits agreed to
There are a number of other specific edits specified by tracked issues
Mike will release a version of the multiple response types specs with an IANA considerations section in it
OAuth:
Stephen Farrell still needs to appoint the designated experts for IANA registrations
AuthN Context Values Registry:
John needs to update our spec to reference the operational version of the AuthN Context Values Registry
The numbers relate to ISO 29115
John filed issue #679 to track this
Interop:
AOL joined - Mike will finish adding them to the tables
Layer7 appears to be near joining - Mike will follow up
WebFinger:
Now uses /.well-known/webfinger
Removes use of XML
People are encouraged to review draft-ietf-appsawg-webfinger-03
We think that it does not yet use the DNS prefix to handle the hosted case
Next Call:
The next call should be in a week
Otherwise it would be on American Thanksgiving
