Mike, thanks for the pointers to those documents-- I'll be sure to hit the "simple things simple, difficult things possible" talking point. I've uploaded the powerpoint deck that I'm going to be using this Thursday to my personal website. (I tried to add it to slideshare, but they were having none of that.) It's been publicly released by my company with unlimited distribution, so feel free to grab it and pass it along.

Folks will see a few familiar diagrams and graphics in there, including Nat's fantastic illustrations of OpenID, OAuth, and Connect's modes of operation around user authentication and authorization. I've also stolen a few of Eve Maler's diagrams and phrases, including the "Identity Signularty" portion of the talk's title.
Another thing that the group would be interested in that's contained in the briefing is my group's implementation of an OpenID Connect server and client in Java Spring, available on GitHub here:
https://github.com/jricher/OpenID-Connect-Java-Spring-Server/
We're planning to have it be fully functional and deployed here by June of this year, at which point we'll be in a good shape to take part in the interoperability testing more directly. In the mean time, we're definitely welcoming of feedback and pull requests. :)

The related slides for the business-oriented (and much shorter) OpenID Connect presentation that I gave at our recent London OpenID event are available at http://openid.net/wordpress-content/uploads/2012/03/OpenID_Connect_Update_March_28_2012.pptx. You're encouraged to borrow as much content from these decks as you'd like. It will help keep our messages consistent across audiences.
