[Openid-specs-ab] What use case does exist behind response_type=none ?

Yes it should.

The problem is that it hasn't been done.  So if we intend to keep it in the spec then we probably have to do it.

If you know of some other OAuth activity that we can defer to, please let us know.

We should discuss this and the other things that are more properly OAuth extensions at the summit and decide how to move forward.
