All on the call agreed with the spec reorganization proposal
Encryption
Mike updated John and Nat on the status of the JWE draft spec
Mike is in the midst of taking a pass over the spec and making it more like XMLENC
Especially the naming
To be more developer-friendly
Report from Cloud Summit
Essentially every session and every discussion includes OpenID Connect
Change Control
From now on, edits should be read by at least two people before being checked in
We should institute issue tracking to track incoming issues and their dispositions
Nat will propose a tool on the list, possibly the one at hg.openid.net
Spec Feedback
Breno sent a note with suggested changes
Nat and John will review the proposed changes and send those they think we should accept to Mike
Casper Biering sent detailed proposed edits
Nat will review the proposed changes and send those he thinks we should accept to Mike
Implementation Update
NIH allocated funds to have Andrew Arnott implement OpenID Connect in DotNetOpenAuth
Ping RP support on an accelerated basis is being advocated - more discussions this week
Johnny Bufu will probably update OpenID4Java at JanRain - with NRI as a backup plan for Java
Google - John will talk with them about implementing discovery
PHP implementation - Edmund presently working on RP implementation, testing with Google
Chuck won't likely have a compliant implementation in the short term
Ryo Ito testing RP code with Google's deployment
Implementer's Drafts
We should give implementers about a week to review the specs after the reorg before we start the implementer's draft process
because we need to freeze the specs once the IPR review of them has started
