Dear Connectors:
I finally managed to translate my Japanese May 15 blog entry that made so
much buzz in Japan. (Got retweeted over 800 times, bookmarked at Hatena
bookmark service over 800 times, etc. The page view got over 10K in a couple
of days.) I was in Berlin with Axel et al., and he was asking what was the
article about.
Here it is:
Dummy’s guide for the Difference between OAuth Authentication and
OpenID<http://nat.sakimura.org/2011/05/15/dummys-guide-for-the-difference-between-oauth-authentication-and-openid/>
http://nat.sakimura.org/2011/05/15/dummys-guide-for-the-difference-between-oauth-authentication-and-openid/
It starts from describing what is OpenID authn and OAuth authn, then go on
to describe why OpenID Connect is the right way to do it.
In the end, it touches briefly on the aggregated claims and distributed
claims.
Cheers,
