The reason we are reminding you of this is that we hope to make this list
much more active in 2010. If you are monitoring this list, and do want to
remain/get involved, we’ll be communicating new ways to participate
shortly. The OpenID Foundation Marketing Committee is reconstituting itself
as the Adoption Committee, since the primary goal of our marketing activity is
to drive adoption and usage of OpenID by website operators and end users.
We may end up creating some subcommittees working on usability, deployment,
marketing communications, industry specific needs (retail, government,
healthcare), etc. That will be up to the new Adoption Committee to
decide.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>If you have specific suggestions on goals, programs,
activities, or committees that can help us drive adoption and usage of OpenID,
please share them with the group along with what areas you’re willing to
contribute. Historically we’ve had lots of folks willing to suggest
what should happen, but a lot fewer who are actually willing to spend some time
helping make those things happen. <o:p></o:p></p>
