[Marketing] [OpenID] Website Being Updated Today

I don't think we are saying it is the home of the Foundation, but is
certainly under the control of the Foundation and part of the
Foundations mission is to educate people about OpenID and openid.net
is one of the best online vehicles for doing that.

Agreed there has been feedback from users and RPs as to where to get
an OpenID.

Providing a list of OPs is the simple solution to the problem, but as
we have discussed, either is confusing to users because it will be so
large, or is small and useful, but inherently biased in some manner
for some criteria.

I think the most important criteria for a user for where to get an
OpenID is someplace they trust. My suggestion was that rather then
provide the user with a list, tell them to go to a service provider
they trust and get an OpenID from them, and if they don't support
OpenID, then ask them to!

As for RPs, they could say the same message.

Let existing internet search mechanisms and market dynamics support
users in finding an OP if they can't find one from the above method.
