usage of the mark it will be necessary to register the mark in each of
the jurisdictions you wish to seek such protection. Any number of Intellectual
Property firms (I'm not an attorney) can help with this. Note, it typically
takes a few years and costs 1 000 - 3 000 USD per jurisdiction for the initial
filing (About 100 000 USD for good commercial coverage). Additional costs are
incurred to renew and should there be any challenges.<br>

objective to establish/articulate a set of policies and guidelines that are

Well, I guess working on those guidelines should be up to some lawyers who know
various jurisdictions. It wouldn't make much sense if there were guidelines
being established which can't be enforced globally.<br>
