<P class=ecxBlockStabilizer>An anchromism in the history of Micosoft products/services was the inability to talk to whosoever one wanted - as an IDP. The firms seemed to be gravitating to the usual, overly-controlling american corporate model - vs the traditional PC model that liberates users. In the Microsoft ACS v1 and v2 services, this meant that only certain openid proviers could be configured - and bridged to talk to ws-fed (WIF) enabled MIcrosoft webapps/webservices.</P><BR>

<P class=ecxBlockStabilizer>With the release of the "release candidate" codeplex package, can I withdraw my implicit criticism? And, now laud Microsoft for enabling users and their RP sites to talk to now ANY openid IDP (UCI ones, included)?</P>
