<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Congratulations and thanks to Board members Nat Sakimura and John Bradley for organizing and leading the just completed OpenID Summit Paris.<div>Attendees braved the strikes in France to join the afternoon's wide ranging review of OpenID adoption and implementation issues.</div><div>Kim Cameron of Microsoft, a technical team from Orange and others took part in the discussions and in so doing helped our ongoing efforts to raise the profile of OpenID in Europe. The 2010 OpenID Summits have been at the center of the Foundation's outreach efforts and technical collaboration. The Palo Alto Summit at Facebook aims to be an overall review of working group progress. It precedes the IIW on November 1. Plans are in progress with PayPal and the National Retailers Federation for a early 2011 Summit devoted to OpenID adoption issues in new ecommerce and e-tailing online environments. </div><div><br></div><div><div>
