It is there by default for you in IE in Vista and Win 7.<br>

It is an optional install for FireFox on Win & Mac or for IE on XP.<br>

There isn't much use in showing a infocard login to someone without a selector.<br>
<br>
Most infocard RPs do the same thing and hide the login if the user doesn't have a selector.<br>

In my personal opinion, one of OpenID’s major benefits for website owners is that they can implement a single interface (OpenID) that can give users different authentication options, including multi-factor auth, or an Information Card. It’s very likely that having the user sign into an RP using an account that they already have and frequently use, is both more secure and more usable than having the user register and login using a local userid and password.<br>
