trying to promote the use of openid I would like to share some thoughts/
feelings. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>At the moment we are in the process of
starting pilots with some large committed RP’s in NL (AX2 (Verified attributes)
and ICAM profile like. Within our pilot our philosophy is that the
committed RP’s determine openid.next (As where consumer groups guard the
interest of the individual consumer). To be successful we need to have more
direct lines and support from OIDF.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>For me the goals of the OIDF are not that
clear anymore.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Identity Oracle, 7 laws of identity all the way. In every technical detail. We
are developers and like to develop.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

gov is able to use OpenID conform ICAM. We define an additional OpenID profile
that fulfills this needs and make sure US OP’s can fulfill this needs.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Personally my goal for openid always was to
make sure RP’s and individuals WORLDWIDE are able to use d-identities in their
daily internet practice. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Therefore I think the main focus should be
to fulfill the needs of international committed RP’s and individuals, nothing
more and nothing less.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US> Some practical suggestions to support
this:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

face meetings (not only by coincidence because of an IIW event)<o:p></o:p></span></p>

clear and conform the goals of the OIDF and follow some strict reporting rules.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

in an international context (where my personal opinion is that committed RP’s
that will implement if we deliver should be involved much more).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
