Hi<br><br>I have recently started playing around with openID implementations and have a doubt.<br>Maybe I have not understood the idea very well. Please someone help me here.<br><br>If I enable OpenID server on my site using which after authentication I give openID identifiers to my users like<br>
<a href="http://mysite/users/username" target="_blank">http://mysite/users/username</a><br>
Now using these openID identifiers, users can log into many other accounts (yahoo, wordpress and other openID relying sites)<br><br>How do these relying parties manage a correspondence between my openID identifier and my yahoo-id.<br>
For instance my openid is: <a href="http://mysite/users/xyz">http://mysite/users/xyz</a><br>and my yahoo account is <a href="mailto:xyz@yahoo.com">xyz@yahoo.com</a><br>How does yahoo know that <a href="http://mysite/users/xyz">http://mysite/users/xyz</a> is the same user as <a href="http://yahoo.com">yahoo.com</a><br>
<br>And if it doesn't how do I access my <a href="mailto:xyz@yahoo.com">xyz@yahoo.com</a> account using the OpenID ? <br><br>To sum.. after I create my openID, it'll mean I'll have a new account on all openID relying sites that will be verified by my OpenID provider?<br>
