I seconded Eran before the voting period and would do anytime again!
Calling publicly for an *anti-endorsement* of a candidate has nothing
lost in our community, from my point such a person should be banned. If
we don't respect ourselves and respect others, than nobody will. (I
would fight for the right to argue, but not at such a low personal
level).
And for you Mr. Shadow in the Garden, even though I don't care one bit
about who you are and even though I know you from other groups as well,
I prefer you keep being an alias and just a shadow. Besides, if you
can't say your name I wonder what you have to hide...perhaps a bad
name....?!
also like to extend a blanket "thank you" to candidates whose silence

opting to remain silent rather than tell a lie.

There we have it, then - your position is that privacy for people who
join the Foundation, even if they aren't part of a Working Group
(but, perhaps, just want a say in Board elections), is unfathomable.
People who care about not having their full names broadcast across
the 'net ("Hey, over here! This is a target that has more data about
the person you're stalking!") would be asked to compromise their
principles (and their privacy!) in return for a vote.
Such a position would effectively bar privacy-intent individuals from
having any say in Foundation business - it's a very UNfriendly
gesture!
We're not so well-known as a bastion of privacy that we can afford to
alienate the individuals and groups that take it very seriously - in
fact, OpenID's publicity has been just the opposite!
Folks - we don't know the positions of the other candidates on this
issue. I can't say for sure that a vote cast for someone other than
Eran would net someone better on the privacy issues. But nonetheless,
I urge you to respect his position as much as he respects the privacy
of you, and anyone else who would be a member of the Foundation.
Taking candidates' other qualifications into account, vote accordingly.
