an end user, an RP, an OP, and a technology platform provider – which I
believe can be a helpful perspective. I’ve been involved with
online identity back to 1996 when I was at NetAngels where we were developing bookmarking
management and collaborative filtering technology to help people find websites,
people, and products that were interesting and relevant based on their
profiles, stated interest, and online activities. I worked in the area of
enterprise SSO at Oblix, which was eventually acquired by Oracle and rolled
into their identity management platform offerings. At CheckFree, among
other things I worked on multi-factor authentication solutions for the websites
of banks and financial institutions. So online identity, authentication, profiles,
and security are not new endeavors for me.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

and colleagues about what I do, they all say – great, can’t wait
for that to be a reality because I hate having to manage all those accounts and
profiles, the web should be easier. That’s what want to help make
