That makes more sense. :D That poster's just talking about discovery. You can handle discovery in a lot of ways, and the most commonly used one in the Shibboleth world is actually federation-centric. We've been trying to change that, because as the poster noted, the SP knows more about its user base than anyone else ever could. It's just been slow because federation-centric is an easy approximation for a lot of apps.<div><br></div><div>I really appreciate you taking the time to clarify things.
