First of all, OpenID is a standard for authentication and as such I'm
not sure how trademarks are and can be applied and to which extend.
It's not a product! As I said before, if you haven't done so already,
you should consult with a specialist in this field.<br>

A good example for separation of such possible trademark issues might
be Jabber and its XMPP standard (was previously Jabber as well). <br>

Again, I'm not sure to which extend this can be enforced and you might
be on the loosing end in many cases. Because somebody has a domain with

Yes they do. Since it's a registered trademark in the US it has the ®
