But then, isn't it a shortcoming of the OpenID foundation and/or
framework? I'd rather see the foundation take up their sleeves than
have us bend by big providers at their terms...the foundation's feet
dragging will result in exactly that. Which isn't really what
joe-early-adopter had in mind, or am I mistaken here?<br>

That's were OpenID will be missing the point really. Should have AOL or
Yahoo announced to allow login to their respective accounts with OpenID
(any OpenID), this would have been real support and also real news.
Right now, it doesn't look too good IMO :-(<br>
