I don't think asking all OPs to openly publish this data would be something they would do in the long run. Of course it would always be a matter of choice.
<br><br>Can anyone think of analogies to this in other decentralized system? I guess alexa/compete are analogies to trying to understand usage in a decentralized system, so perhaps a perfect solution doesn't exist. Maybe in the future there will be a business in predicting OpenID usage data :-).
