[OpenID] Vote to approve OpenID 2.0 to Connect Migration spec is closing in two days

Boilerplate stuff about channel encryption making risk (of disclosure, say) low looks perfunctory.

Last year, channel encryption was debunked, in the public perception, as a low risk inducing technique. There were just too many disclosure inducing failures (other than encryption).

Makes openid foundation look like a tick sheet corporation, when filling out such standard elements historically provided to mollify public concern.

Not sure those sections add anything whatsoever to the intent of the document. And probably detract (for the reasons given above).

If i had a vote, I'd abstain.
