For more reading, there are 2 other efforts that were discussed at that
same OpenID summit and which are currently active.  One is the Mozilla
BrowserID project and the other is the OIDF Account Chooser working group.
 The latest version of
BrowserID<http://identity.mozilla.com/post/17207734786/id-provider-support-now-live-on-browserid>is
done as an HTML5 app instead of native code in the browser.  That is
the
same model the Account Chooser working
group<https://sites.google.com/site/oidfacwg/>has been pursuing for
awhile, and that service is very close to being
available and you can try it yourself

Each of these approaches is a mix of learnings form past attempts, along
with a few new ideas.  Both groups are always interested in new ideas, so
you might want to track their efforts and consider getting involved with
them.
