Hi All,

Some of you may have already seen this in the news today but in case you missed.

http://developer.yahoo.com/blogs/ydn/posts/2011/01/third-party-auth/

You will be able to login to your existing Yahoo! account using OpenID with
Google or using FB account. Of course if you don't have an account, you can
login to Yahoo! with G or FB ID ( without selecting a password or a Yahoo ID).
If at a later time you do want to get Yahoo! mail, you will be able to select
Yahoo mail ID and a password.

I'll send out a note when this is live tomorrow.

Thanks

Naveen Agarwal

Subject: [OpenID] Flickr users can now login with a Google account via OpenID

Hi All,

Flickr now lets users login using a Google Account using the OpenID protocol.

More info here:
http://blog.flickr.net/en/2010/10/28/sign-up-for-flickr-with-your-google-account/

http://developer.yahoo.com/blogs/ydn/posts/2010/10/yahoo-accepts-openid-authentication-with-google/

http://googlecode.blogspot.com/2010/10/simpler-access-to-flickr-for-google.html

This is a big win for OpenID and for open standards, and hopefully we'll see
more large sites accept 3rd party identities using open standards in the future.

Allen
