Hi Chris,

Essentially, yes I'm afraid; and in all honestly, I'm surprised more
people aren't blocked too.

From my (non legal, just a web developer) standpoint, all I can see is
a patent covenant, which to me is the same as having a group of people
with loaded guns saying we won't fire if you don't - no offence of course.

I simply need what we're all used to with BSD, Apache, CC, GPL and
similar license, a simple clear statement which let's us know what we
can do with the code - it's the same thing that stops me using what
appears to be an open source lib which doesn't have a license, we simply
ask the developer what license it's released under, figure out if it's
compatible then go from there.

Quite sure it would be in everybody's best interests if this was cleared
up quickly with that 10 minute change.

as an aside: if this doesn't happen then I (along with many others I'm
sure) would be looking to the answer to your aforementioned question
'Any reason why we haven't taken 10 minutes to make that change?'

Many Regards and thanks for your follow up Chris,

Nathan
