I will probably be at the eema conference in London in June. Are you planning on coming to that?

I am on the program committee for the OASIS IDTrust track.

In 2009 participating organisations came from 17 countries, including 30% from Government/public sector, 20% from user organisations included Motorola, Total, KPMG, Siemens, Visa International, European Commission, Euroclear Bank and the UK HM Revenue and Customs.

Looking at the weaknesses of current e-ID schemes (no use in business environments because limitations of personal public service numbers, poor application support, security levels in no proportion to business transactions, no daily use, attribute sharing, no multi channel support (Mobile, CyberCafé etc..) it is worthwhile to have an open discussion how OpenID could( or not) bridge this.
