Brian,

I've been pouring all my work and relevant suggestions in this area  
into the Kantara WG-ULX which is co-chaired by JanRain's very own  
Michael Graves.  You can read the minutes there if you want specific  
suggestions.  I know some in the OpenID community probably feel it's  
not their preferred forum for working on the problem, but it's doing  
good work, and I would love more participation from those on this  
list.  Support for discovery using multiple protocols is a required  
component of an acceptable solution, and OpenID is of course one of  
them.

When the next edition of an OpenID Discovery WG gets rolling, time  
overlaps permitting, I'll be happy to lend a hand there too.
