A useful rule in cross-posting is to cross post via BCC (while
pointing out that the post was BCC-cross-posted). The advantage of
using BCC is that follow ups via Reply-All will not be cross posted as
well (at least not automatically).

E.g., if I had cross-posted this reply to the board I could add as my
first line:

+board (bcc'ed for no automatic cross-post follow up).
