But only IF they route all their efforts through a method that
REQUIRES a model. You, apparently, do; if we all thought in exactly
the same way, however, we would collectively be extremely limited.

I get to translate again: "shooting in the dark" means "your minds
all work differently" (which is, apparently, a fact to be proud of,
since it means you can work effectively without the restrictions
Santosh describes). You'll see this kind of phrase often from people
who have difficulty realizing the merit to any methods (or ways of
thinking) other than their own :)
