They should be running v2.0, and from my earlier tests with a v1.1 
provider I can confirm that they should be backward-compatible. But

RP's won't tell you what's happening on your end, they can make some 
guesses but won't know all of it. You can use a web proxy (such as 
Fiddler) to spy on the data passing through, then find RP's in the 
wild with varying levels of support to test against.
