[OpenID] Facebook support for OpenID. Where?

Functionally equivalent to "your master OpenID must be at our local OP".

I hadn't been aware Facebook *was* supporting OpenID, though.
Planning to, yes; working towards it; but in the transition period,
at most. OpenID still has a few security issues to work out (and AX
should see a lot more development) before either can match what
Connect is already capable of; I wouldn't expect them to move
entirely over to OpenID until then. There are issues, but E-mail is
NOT one of them.

It *can* be confusing, to prospective RP's, whether they should
implement support for OpenID or Connect, and hopefully this confusion
will be dispelled soon.

>Ok, so I decided to link my Google Account. I found that I could not link to
>my Google Account without me handing over all my Google contacts!

Is this a problem with Facebook, with OpenID, or with the Google API?

Disclosure without handing over the password to your accounts is a
good thing, and indeed part of OpenID's promise; partial disclosure
would be nicer, but as with Facebook, my preference with Google is
that the options for developers be narrowed to "OpenID" so we don't
have to worry about whether to implement Connect support, Google's
API support, and all the rest.
