I happen to be the one making that recommendation/request, but please 
don't do it just because "I said so"; I have no authority here. I 
presented what I believe to be compelling reasons to do so; if those 
reasons persuade you, act on them.

As to others doing the same, I have no authority and likewise no 
obligation to demand that anyone else follow suit. My concern arose 
when your very first (and, at that time, only) post to this list was 
simply "Your OpenID is destined to be your email address. I have 
posted my arguments on my blog." - I don't mind an occasional belated 
crosslink, and I wouldn't be surprised if several of the posts here 
were crossposted to someone's blog (before or after), without any 
mention of that.

(Blog posts at openid.net *should be* cross-posted to the list; this 
is intentional, so those of us reading just this list and not 
regularly visiting the website can be alerted to the news in a timely 
fashion.)
