[OpenID] Using SimpleSAMLphp for OpenID

I plan on using SimpleSAMLphp on a student news paper website. That's
because most of our readers have a student user in Feide. But it must
also support OpenID for the rest since I plan on making login
mandatory (so we can at least get _some_ verification about people); I
want to use something like rpxnow (the nice, easy, usabillity-focused
OpenID-login) and Feide-login.

Since this SimpleSAMLphp that Feide runs does support OpenID, does
that mean that I can just mod something like rpxnow to use feide as
the primary OpenID-auth-service, or isn't it so integrated right now?
