I recommend against using your Blogger blog URL as your openid. It only
does OpenID 1.x but OpenID 2.0 has been around for a while. With some extra
work you can 'upgrade' your blog URL to openid 2.0, but Google stops
managing it at that point.
The easiest way to get an OpenID that works well, in my experience, is to
stop by www.myopenid.com and get one there.
