How we get there I don't really care too much about, but what I would 
like to achieve is that each proposal for OpenID 2.1 can be rapidly 
tested against a variety of different implementations to find out what 
its impacts are, rather than guessing.

I like the idea of being able to automatically test against the 
implementations, since that means that a single person can experiment 
with approaches (running the tests himself) and rapidly iterate.
