[OpenID] live and openid??

Been experimenting all morning with Microsoft identity platform  - in the SDK for identity services (delegated auth for mesh data sources, classical IDP-RP token passing, cloud-hosted IDPs and RPs, WSFed-SAML2 gateways, hosted role mapping, DRM-wrapping of syndicated content, etc). All wonderful stuff, if you are in our business.

one link from the "Geneva Identity Toolkit SDK" takes one to the liveID openid service.

(a) I could not get it to authenticate my home_pw at msn.com<mailto:home_pw at msn.com> liveid
(b) lots of links broke

has anyone got a good example/URL where I can play with microsoft's openid service?

do I need to be in some special beta group, perhaps?
