The movement would get a lot of brownie-points if it could map whats been done before (which mapped what was done before that).

As far as I can tell there isn't anyone working on it.
I don't know that the board has ever made a decision to have an
official schema registry for AX.
That was a proposal from Sxip that seems to have lost momentum.
I agree that having no official schema and two unofficial ones is a
huge interoperability problem.
If a RP has to ask for 2 sets of AX claims and SREG in each request
that will slow down adoption.
It also blows up a bunch of OP's who are not supporting the POST
binding from my testing.
I support chartering a WG or some other body to get this moving again.
