Dear OpenIders,

as we are working on a somewhat parallel community I thought I'd point
out some of what I think we have achieved recently.

FOAF+SSL is a simple authentication protocol, that just uses 1 or 2
https connections to do its work. We now have an example service to
create a certificate, which I describe here:

     http://blogs.sun.com/bblfish/entry/creating_a_foaf_ssl_cert

This could be used in combination with OpenId in a service to FOAF+SSL
enable services that don't have the SSL infrastructure.
I describe the protocol which I have tentatively named foaf+ssl+openid
here

Interested in your feedback,

		Henry
