Zero hits, note.
Speaking of adopting banks, etc it's not obvious that any ISC2 prominent members recognize openid as being "valuable" to that security professional group.
The openid Marketing group might want to rectify that.
Before anyone asks : NO! I have zero influence over ISC2... They assuredly would not accept judgement of value that originates from me! They might accept material originated by a committee chair or officer of the Openid Board, however, once proper credentials are verified. If they don't, that fact would be telling, worth establishing, and worth fixing.
Significant efforts have been made by the (ISC)2 worldwide network of professionals and affiliates to contribute to the content of the Resource Guide for Today's Information Security Professional and to ensure that current, complete and accurate information is included, based on data available. (ISC)2, its members and affiliates are not responsible for the accuracy of the Guide's content nor for any content submitted by industry contributors. We accept contributions that will be valuable to professionals in this industry. Please submit suggested content for consideration to Admin.ResourceGuide at isc2.org<mailto:Admin.ResourceGuide at isc2.org>.
We should remember that some very large (friendly) corporations spent a lot of effort in mindshare marketing characterizing openid technology as : (1) that to be used only for protection of those assets with no particular value (2) a technology that does not meet the industry-definition of a single-signon scheme. This general marketing *may* explain the perceived absence of any value in making even a single professional references to (the many) openid online resources.
