[OpenID] Windows Live ID OpenID CTP Status Update (August 2009)

So the right place for this is http://public.cxo.com/conferences/index.html?conferenceID=51. Unfortunately, its coming up very fast. Its back to being a small conference, of thought leaders rather than programming engineers, who are groping to find the right balance for the vendor-led identity infrastructure. But, once persuaded, the folks have the power to execute, integrate, pilot etc.

You have to be very personable to get a hearing for a pitch; but I don't think you have any problem there!

Bring some political ammunition tho, if you come. To get some bit of technology adopted, youll have to scratch someone's back so they get what they want. What *I* want is harmony between OASIS and W3C over XRI/XDI/XRD, so we can ALL leave dns behind us. Do some bridging there, and I bet trustworthiness will go way off the scale.

Well there is the foaf-protocols mailing list
        http://lists.foaf-project.org/mailman/listinfo/foaf-protocols

There may be other lists I should introduce this too. But I think in
helps if I first give a real presentation to a group of people live.
It helps get people's intuitions lined up. Perhaps you have ideas of
conferences I should present too that would make a big difference. I
will be going to the Identity Interest group in November to present.

yes. And we have working examples too. We just need more of them and
more useful ones to get this going.
