No, just an example, using the more personalized "you" rather than 
the objective (but dry and clinical) 3rd-person perspective in its 
dialogue. Consider "you" to be omnidirectional, aimed at all readers 
as general advice. (Okay, *sarcastic* advice, that really shouldn't 
be taken seriously.)
