This has a lot of potential as a method to engage consumers for more  
widespread adoption. Personally, I would love to see a ".identity"  
extension as it wouldn't strictly imply an underlying technology  
implementation which would be great for both digital identities and  
web applications that significantly relate to digital identity.

The only problem with something so ambiguous (".identity" or ".myid")  
is that there are other extensions that are probably fulfilling that  
role already (".name" or ".me"). Having something specific to OpenID  
could possibly get over some adoption hurdles but then isn't that too  
selfish for the OpenID community? I don't know.
