With my "individual member of the community" hat on rather than my OIDF
board member hat on, I must admit I thought $100 seemed like quite a big
number for an individual; at the exchange rate when I paid mine, that
was around £50 GBP, which while not a massive amount of money is not
pocket change either. I think it'd be much less of a decision if it were
£20 or less (~$35 at current exchange rate).
However, as you say it will be interesting to see how things develop
once the membership drive kicks into full swing. I'd be interested to
hear from any other individuals outside of the board that have a view on
the current individual membership pricing.
