Sorry, I don't know. You might ping their mailing list and ask. I get the
impression that a lot of folks are waiting for the Googler contributors to
provide a prototype, and then people will spend time getting it more
formalized. The idea of combining the two has certainly come up in the
past, and so I think it is reasonable to ask for more progress to be made
before asking other folks to spend a bunch of time on it.
