Steven, from my perspective your point was right on.  I'm just not  
happy about it. ;D  They ought not be forced to choose one software  
package for public forums and discussions and another software  
package for core applications and trusted users.  Many applications  
need to serve both sets of users, and it's an undue burden for them  
to not have one implementation choice that can do it.

I'm a huge fan(though not a participant) of Concordia, and I bet  
that's a forum where a lot of convergence happens.
